Europe Announce 2026 ‘The Final Countdown’ 40th Anniversary Tour

Swedish rock legends Europe are celebrating 40 years of The Final Countdown with a 19-date European tour in Fall 2026, performing shows across 12 countries.

The band will play songs from their iconic career and perform the The Final Countdown album in full—including hits from their upcoming album—in the U.K., Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

“In the blink of an eye, 40 years have passed. Performing The Final Countdown in full for only the second time, alongside our other hits and favorite new songs, will be amazing,” said lead singer Joey Tempest. “We’re working to make the production and show match this very special occasion.”

Canadian rockers The Damn Truth will support Europe throughout the tour, while Scottish rockers Gun join for the U.K. dates.

Released in 1986, The Final Countdown was Europe’s third album and propelled the band to international stardom. The title track reached No. 1 in 25 countries, and the multi-platinum album spent over 60 weeks on the U.S. Billboard chart, producing four Top 40 singles.
