Elvis Costello & The Imposters Announce U.K. Summer 2026 Tour

Elvis Costello & The Imposters, joined by guitarist Charlie Sexton, have announced U.K. dates for their Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello tour, scheduled for summer 2026.

The tour’s setlist spans Costello’s early catalog, featuring songs from his 1977 debut My Aim Is True through 1986’s Blood and Chocolate.

Reflecting on the tour, Costello said, “For any songwriter, it has to be a compliment if people want to hear songs written up to fifty years ago. Among them is ‘Radio Soul,’ the first draft of what later became ‘Radio Radio.’ You can expect the unexpected and the faithful in equal measure.”

He also highlighted the band’s identity: “This show is performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters—an ensemble that includes three people who first recorded this music and two more who bring something entirely new. They are nobody’s tribute band. The Imposters are a living, breathing rock and roll band, equally capable of delivering a powerful ballad when the moment arises.”

The U.K. leg kicks off on Saturday, June 13, at Symphony Hall in Birmingham, followed by shows in London, Portsmouth and Newcastle, including a special performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Tickets are on sale now via Costello’s official website.

In addition, the band will support Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts on select dates in June and July.

Meanwhile, Costello’s episode of the new music performance series WORDS + MUSIC will premiere Sunday, December 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MGM+. The performance features Costello with The Imposters, joined by special guests Eleanor Whitmore and Seán McKeon, combining music from his catalog with storytelling and projections of Costello’s own artwork and family photographs.
