American music icon Dolly Parton (80) passes away

Dolly Parton, one of the biggest icons in country music, has passed away at the age of 80. The singer won the hearts of millions of fans worldwide with hits like ‘Jolene’, ‘9 to 5’, and ‘I Will Always Love You’. Her family announced her death via Facebook.

Her nephew and head of security Brian Seaver announced her passing in a video message. Parton had asked him years ago to release the video after her death.
